Last week, on the 5th of May, the Benchmaster team were lucky enough to attend Insider’s Made in the North West Awards Ceremony due to being nominated for two awards. The two awards we were nominated for include Manufacturer of the Year (under £25m) and the Medical, Life Sciences & Healthcare award. Unfortunately, we didn’t win the awards but being shortlisted for us is still a massive achievement to all of the team and we’re hoping for even bigger results in 2022.

The awards focused on North West manufacturers in 2021 and this was a massive year for us, seeing a record year in terms of turnover and many other highlights throughout the year. We expanded out of England into regions such as Scotland, Ireland and even Germany, making our mark globally as well as locally.
Even though we didn’t win, it was amazing to be part of an event full of manufacturing excellence within our community, we recognise the skill and quality of the other nominees and believe the winners wholeheartedly deserved the award. The North West is full of leaders in the manufacturing industry and we’re proud to be amongst that list, manufacturing our custom workbenches from the highest quality materials and receiving praise for them time after time.
